Hello Everyone! Have I got a treat for you...
Savory Carrot Fries
These were So. Delicious. What a fun way to enjoy my carrots!
And so simple, too...
4 carrots, cut into fry shapes
spices of choice (I used sea salt and fennel seeds)
Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 425* F. In a bowl, toss carrot strips with a drizzle of olive oil (I used a very small amount- probably about 1-2 tsp) and spices. Arrange on a foiled baking sheet so that none of the strips are touching. Bake for 10 minutes, flip fries, and bake for 10 more minutes.
Enjoy with some delicious mild mustard...
But before you eat them...have a photo shoot with your fries outside!
So pretty! I am starting to really enjoy taking pictures of food on my balcony. The natural light makes the food look so much better...and it's especially fun to do during this nice spring weather we have been having!
Not that I've been enjoying it much...I have 2 huge papers due tomorrow and have been glued to my books for the last several days.
My Google Reader has been neglected...
